North Yorkshire Police (NYP) contacted the team regarding an elderly person who was lost in the woods of Mulgrave Estate in the Sandsend Rigg area. .One Land Rover returning from Danby Show headed to Sandsend with the other Land Rover fully crewed from the base and other team members travelling in their own vehicles,
The person was located in the woods by one of the Land Rovers. A team medic performed a thorough assessment of the individual and concluded the person did not require any further medical intervention. The person was accompanied back to their accommodation.
21 team members were involved for approximately 2.75 hours.
