Our video review of 2021 is now live. As with all other mountain rescue teams and the emergency services in general, it’s been another difficult year due to the implications of COVID-19. Despite those difficulties we have continued to provide a 24-hour search & rescue service everyday of the year, due in no small part to the hard work and dedication of our volunteer members so ‘thank you’ to them!
However, we could not provide that level of service without the continuing support of many, many organisations, businesses and individuals across our area who continue to support the Team with generous gifts, grants and donations. So a very big ‘THANK YOU’ to everyone who has supported to the Team – not just financially but also in your regular messages of support on social media and elsewhere or in person when we are ‘out and about’ – it really does make a big difference!
Here’s hoping for a better 2022 – wishing you all a very Happy New Year!
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.Join Now
