February’s calendar photo

We're a bit late with this month's calendar photo which is this snowy one taken last year, just below the Cleveland Hills. February's sponsor from our 2022 Team Calendar was once again Sadlers shepherding - who have sponsored all three years that we've been publishing one. So a huge debt of thanks to Ross Sadler, who provides shearing and general…

Mercedes-Benz Support Vehicle

In 2018 Mercedes-Benz of Teesside provided Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team with an on-loan Mercedes GLC 4x4. During the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic the GLC was at…

Video Review of 2021

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRI4N_xabVY&t=35s Our video review of 2021 is now live. As with all other mountain rescue teams and the emergency services in general, it’s been another difficult year due to the implications of COVID-19. Despite those difficulties we have continued to provide a 24-hour search & rescue service everyday of the year, due in no small part to the hard work…

Frosty dawn on Carlton Bank January's sponsor is Free Range Eggs from Great Ayton at Aireyholme Farm near Great Ayton. They have sponsored every year of…

A similar event is taking place this year led by our very own Team member Carl Faulkner and Mike Hind MBE. Early…

Search Dog News

Last weekend two of our team members went across to Patterdale Hall Residential Adventure Learning Centre for the December Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England course. Kath was bodying for the dogs acting as a lost casualty and Claire was helping instruct the young pups with their Search Dog foundations. This was supported as always by Mercedes-Benz of Teesside loaning us…
