We were recently contacted by Victoria Price who sent us a lovely note and drawings made by her son Edward, a Year-2 pupil at Marwood Infants School in Great Ayton. For their homework, Edward’s class were asked to do some research about someone who has done things to help others. Edward spoke to a family friend, Jan Snowden, whose husband Bryan…
In a recent News article on this page, we thanked Vicky McFarlane for a donation following her rescue last year and now Vicky has been featured in this Northern Echo article. Thanks for you kind words Vicky (and again for your donation). Screenshot courtesy of the Northern Echo:
The Team recently received a very generous donation of £500 from the Northallerton Lodge of the RAOB. Our Team Leader, Tim Wood, was on hand to receive a cheque from the RAOB's Ken Evitt at a meeting of the group at The Oddfellows pub in Northallerton. Many thanks to the ROAB for such a kind gesture.

A mixture of minor and serious injuries were dealt with, two of which required ambulances being called to our medical tent to take casualties to hospital. We also dealt with two unrelated call-outs whilst the event was taking place. Many…

They donated £550 to the Team as a 'charity share' of the receipts from the entry fees and the mascot race. On the day, our members there received £282.75, mostly from our children's games, but also from the sale of merchandise and…

Not content with that, he has set himself a bigger challenge in support of the Team this year by planning to run the 100-Km Thames Path Ultra. Ian has set up a Just Giving page so please consider…
