We were contacted by Cleveland Police at 17.55 to reports of 4 young girls stuck on Eston hills. They had called for help and had low phone battery power. We attempted to locate them using our Sarloc phone finder capability. Team vehicles and 19 team members were on route to commence searching for them when we got the welcome news…

INCIDENT 11/2025 - CALL-OUT No. 8
SUNDAY 23RD FEBRUARY 2025 (1737 HOURS)
Contacted by North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust who requested our assistance with the extraction of a man who had suffered a lower leg injury after slipping on a muddy path near to the River Tees just outside Yarm. An ambulance crew was reported to be walking towards the casualty site and a NEAS Hazardous Area Response Team was also en route.
We deployed two Land Rovers and a number of Team members. Once the casualty had been stabilised we ‘wheeled’ him approximately 700-metres back to the ambulance using the HART team’s wheeled rescue stretcher. We wish him well for a speedy recovery.
Nineteen Cleveland MRT members were involved for approximately 2-hours plus return travel time.
