Many, many thanks to local business ‘K Home International’ for a donation of £2,500 to the Team.
The company is a Teesside-based, family run business that has worked on projects across the world, offering engineering design and project management services for industrial plants. There is a past connection to the Team in that one of our former members used to be on the staff there some years ago. A company director has even had to call upon our services when one of the party he was with had an accident up on the Moors.
This very significant donation will be of great help in funding our core running costs and buying vital equipment in the coming months, so thanks again to K Home International.
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

Unfortunately due to the overnight rain with more forecast, today's event at Redcar Racing has been cancelled so we will not be there! Statement from the racecourse:
Unfortunately today’s Easter Monday race meeting has been abandoned.
We are bitterly disappointed that racing is not able to go ahead but there is little that can be done given the amount of recent rainfall this morning.
All pre-paid tickets will automatically be refunded, there is no need to contact the racecourse office.
