The Spring 2023 edition of Mountain Rescue magazine is now available to read online and includes a few features about Cleveland MRT:
p51 – call-out 5/2023 in January where Eddie the cocker spaniel fell over Whitestone Cliff near Sutton Bank.
p53 – the Masons donations set in train by local lodge Handyside 1618 to fund clothing for Team members as reported in March.
p65 – fundraising by GrasshoppersYoga in December.
Also a feature on Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England including our neighbouring teams as supported by training ‘dogsbodies’ from Cleveland MRT. Pages 54 & 55.

Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

Unfortunately due to the overnight rain with more forecast, today's event at Redcar Racing has been cancelled so we will not be there! Statement from the racecourse:
Unfortunately today’s Easter Monday race meeting has been abandoned.
We are bitterly disappointed that racing is not able to go ahead but there is little that can be done given the amount of recent rainfall this morning.
All pre-paid tickets will automatically be refunded, there is no need to contact the racecourse office.
