We were called by Cleveland Police to assist in a search of the Saltburn area for a missing man. Very sadly a body was discovered outside of our search area so we were then stood down. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased man.
Twenty-four Cleveland MRT members and three Team vehicles were deployed for approximately 1.5 hours.
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

Many thanks to everyone who contributed to our collection at the weekend's Boltby Bash Enduro - we received a whopping £767 in donations! That's in addition to the raffle income mentioned in yesterday's post.
