Cleveland MRT members were deployed at the request of Cleveland Police to search an area of land at Thornaby for a missing person. Thankfully, the person was found by Police officers in an adjacent search area not too long after we had commenced our searches and we were then able to stand-down. Sixteen members plus two Team vehicles were deployed for approximately 2.5-hours.
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

Many thanks to everyone who contributed to our collection at the weekend's Boltby Bash Enduro - we received a whopping £767 in donations! That's in addition to the raffle income mentioned in yesterday's post.
