Last weekend two of our team members went across to Patterdale Hall Residential Adventure Learning Centre for the December Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England course. Kath was bodying for the dogs acting as a lost casualty and Claire was helping instruct the young pups with their Search Dog foundations.
This was supported as always by Mercedes-Benz of Teesside loaning us our lovely GLB. We are super grateful for the use of this support vehicle which allows us to keep our operational vehicles in the Team’s area and ready for call-outs.
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

Unfortunately due to the overnight rain with more forecast, today's event at Redcar Racing has been cancelled so we will not be there! Statement from the racecourse:
Unfortunately today’s Easter Monday race meeting has been abandoned.
We are bitterly disappointed that racing is not able to go ahead but there is little that can be done given the amount of recent rainfall this morning.
All pre-paid tickets will automatically be refunded, there is no need to contact the racecourse office.
