WE WILL REMEMBER THEM
At 1100 hours today, members of Cleveland MRT gathered for our annual Remembrance Day walk up to the site of a Second World War aircraft crash site near to Captain Cook’s Monument, to pay our respects to all those who have sacrificed so much in the service of their countries.
Thanks to Team members Kath (who recited the Ode of Remembrance) and Claire for organising the event and laying the wreath. Also, very many thanks to those members of the public including a running group and walkers who came along to pay their respects. More info on the crash site can be found at:
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.
