The summer edition of Mountain Rescue magazine is now available to read online. As usual, it contains lots of useful and interesting articles about MR in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
Closer to home there are a few articles and photos relating to Cleveland MRT:

p53 – also in April, the Team’s Whalebones Walk event
p65 – a note about the inaugural Siren Fest’ event at Ingelby Barwick and a separate photo of Ian Rowan and his family visiting our Base as a ‘thank you’ for his fundraising run on the London Marathon.

Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

CALL-OUT 51/2024
THURSDAY 5th DECEMBER 2024
After a lull in call-outs in recent weeks, we were contacted early this morning by Cleveland Police requesting our support to search for a missing person in their area.
With seven Team members deployed to our Base to prepare and crew the Team vehicles and another thirteen on standby, we were stood down by the Police after just over an hour as the person had been located.
