The Autumn edition of Mountain Rescue magazine is now available online (link).
This is the official magazine for MR in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland and as usual it contains lots of really useful and interesting articles. An incredible amount of work goes into producing the magazine so, as ever, our thanks to the editorial team and all contributors. Even if you are not part of a MR team there is plenty to find of interest in every edition.
In this one there are a few articles featuring Cleveland MRT:
p45 – filming with BBC ‘Close Calls on Camera’ and a casualty’s visit to our Base
p47 – news of a large donation from Bash In The Barn
p52 – our long service awards night with Mark Webster, the Chief Constable of Cleveland Police
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.
