Team Members visited Morrisons Teesside Park this morning to collect a donation of drinking water. Our Covid 19 protocols require Team Members to wear PPE when treating and carrying our casualties which generates a lot of heat. Having water in our Team vehicles to re-hydrate afterwards is essential and the donation is much appreciated by all Team Members.
The water is also available to the casualties we treat and is also used by our Water Team during their deployments. Many thanks to Vikki Burns, Morrisons Community Champion for organising the donation and all the staff at Morrisons for their support with many local charities.
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.Join Now
