Thank you to Mercedes-Benz of Teesside for their continued assistance in providing our Support Vehicle (Viking 4) as a loan vehicle free of charge supporting many functions of the team. It is often used to allow our Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England trainees travel around the country for training or for our community assist projects throughout the year but this weekend it has facilitated three of our team to undertake Mental Health First Aid training at the neighbouring Swaledale MRT base.
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

Over the years Leven Crafts and their customers in Guisborough have been staunch supporters of Cleveland MRT and their latest fundraiser is ideally timed in the run up to Christmas.
Starting on 30th November, they will be holding a charity sale of handmade quilts and shop samples to raise funds for us and the Great North Air Ambulance.
Thanks yet again to Leven Crafts for their continued support.
