A new month brings a new photo from our 2022 Team Calendar. This time it’s a typical Spring scene of bluebells below Roseberry Topping, photographed by one of our Team members. Each month of the calendar contains hill safety advice or information about the Team. This month’s tip is about hill safety:’Plan your route. Take a map and compass. Tell someone where you are going. Let them know if your plans change’.

Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

Unfortunately due to the overnight rain with more forecast, today's event at Redcar Racing has been cancelled so we will not be there! Statement from the racecourse:
Unfortunately today’s Easter Monday race meeting has been abandoned.
We are bitterly disappointed that racing is not able to go ahead but there is little that can be done given the amount of recent rainfall this morning.
All pre-paid tickets will automatically be refunded, there is no need to contact the racecourse office.
