The local fell-running community continue to be very generous to Cleveland MRT having recently donated £1,000 to us, from the proceeds of the Viking Chase and the Eskdale Eureka events held last year. Many thanks to everyone who contributed and here’s hoping that you have an enjoyable series of fell runs in 2023 – we know you’ve already started!
A special mention to Clive Thornton of Esk Valley Fell Club and Bob Lillie of Scarborough Athletic Club who both put in so much effort to the organising of these excellent events (assisted by their many helpers!).

Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

Over the years Leven Crafts and their customers in Guisborough have been staunch supporters of Cleveland MRT and their latest fundraiser is ideally timed in the run up to Christmas.
Starting on 30th November, they will be holding a charity sale of handmade quilts and shop samples to raise funds for us and the Great North Air Ambulance.
Thanks yet again to Leven Crafts for their continued support.
