Following on from the ‘Guisborough 3 Tops’ English Fell Run Championships that the Team supported at the end of April, the organising club Esk Valley Fell Club have since donated £1,020 to the Team.
Many thanks to the club and especially their organisers Clive Thornton & Bob Lille for donating this fantastic amount plus, of course, all of the competitors for their fee donations.
Without year-round donations such as these and those from members of the public, businesses & other organisations our search & rescue work would be difficult to support through lacks of funds. So thanks again to the Esk Valley Fell Club.

Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

Unfortunately due to the overnight rain with more forecast, today's event at Redcar Racing has been cancelled so we will not be there! Statement from the racecourse:
Unfortunately today’s Easter Monday race meeting has been abandoned.
We are bitterly disappointed that racing is not able to go ahead but there is little that can be done given the amount of recent rainfall this morning.
All pre-paid tickets will automatically be refunded, there is no need to contact the racecourse office.
