We recently hosted a visit to our Base by a group of Countryside Worker and Countryside Ranger apprentices from the North York Moors National Park. As part of their apprenticeship they have a forum group which they use to develop their skills, to volunteer and to undertake educational talks / days – learning more about what takes place in and around our fabulous national park.
It was great to host our visitors and particularly good to see such enthusiastic young people getting involved with the National Park – the future is in good hands!
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.Join Now
