Some of our members recently volunteered to help out in a community support role by delivering bulk supplies of PPE equipment. The equipment was collected from a central storage depot on Teesside and delivered to Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council offices for use locally in the coming weeks.
The Team has supported the council with similar PPE distribution from the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

Unfortunately due to the overnight rain with more forecast, today's event at Redcar Racing has been cancelled so we will not be there! Statement from the racecourse:
Unfortunately today’s Easter Monday race meeting has been abandoned.
We are bitterly disappointed that racing is not able to go ahead but there is little that can be done given the amount of recent rainfall this morning.
All pre-paid tickets will automatically be refunded, there is no need to contact the racecourse office.
