COVID-19 more bulk PPE distribution

As part of our COVID-19 community support initiative, three Team members spent part of this morning transporting bulk PPE at the request of Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council. Gari Finch appointed as NESRA President

Gari Finch joined the Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team in 1970 and has at various times been the Team’s Chairperson and Secretary – and for 25-years he was our Call-out Officer. The Co-op Community Fund closed on Saturday 24th October after 12 months. Double Honours

Two stalwarts of our Team were recently honoured by the Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation during a presentation at our Base. Gari Finch and Dave Cook have been volunteer Team members for a combined total of 100-years! In recognition of their service they were named as 'Teesside Heroes' by the Philanthropic Foundation. Casualty Care Exam Success!
