Following on from the 'Guisborough 3 Tops' English Fell Run Championships that the Team supported at the end of April, the organising club Esk Valley Fell Club have since donated £1,020 to the Team. Many thanks to the club and especially their organisers Clive Thornton & Bob Lille for donating this fantastic amount plus, of course, all of the competitors…
Many thanks to all 'Whalebones Walkers' (and runners) who have now returned their sponsorship monies and other donations. The final amount raised after costs was £4,100.08p (including Gift Aid) - a tremendous total, all of which goes directly to funding our core running costs. Many, many thanks. See you all next year! Don't forget to save Saturday 1st October 2022…
Four-years ago Mercedes-Benz of Teesside provided the Team with an on-loan Mercedes GLC SUV which proved to be a huge help to us - by transporting our then search dogs, supporting Search & Rescue operations and as a key resource for our Support members’ fundraising activities. That was replaced by another SUV in 2020, a Mercedes GLB, which continued to be a…
It's always good to hear back from people who we have helped, to see how they are getting on. Recovering from serious injuries can take a long time as this update proves. One of our regular call-out locations is Roseberry Topping and way back in October 2019 we were there dealing with Paula, who had sustained quite a nasty and…

Following on from a couple of injuries on Saturday, the Team dealt with a further 11 injuries - mainly cuts and bruises to limbs and backs plus a painful shoulder injury. Thankfully no full-team call-outs were needed…

Since then, as well as regularly being worn in bad weather, Team members have also had to wear their jackets as a PPE barrier layer when dealing with all casualties as a COVID-19 protection measure. This has led to far…
