MONDAY 1ST AUGUST 2022
The Team was contacted shortly before midnight to assist Cleveland Police with a search for a missing man. After completing our search areas we stood-down in the early hours of Tuesday morning, pending any further request from the Police to assist whilst they continued with their enquiries. Thirteen Cleveland MRT members were involved for just over 3-hours.
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

Unfortunately due to the overnight rain with more forecast, today's event at Redcar Racing has been cancelled so we will not be there! Statement from the racecourse:
Unfortunately today’s Easter Monday race meeting has been abandoned.
We are bitterly disappointed that racing is not able to go ahead but there is little that can be done given the amount of recent rainfall this morning.
All pre-paid tickets will automatically be refunded, there is no need to contact the racecourse office.
