Search – Northallerton

TUESDAY 26TH JANUARY 2021

Shortly after midday we were contacted by North Yorkshire Police to assist in the search for a man who was reported as missing from Northallerton; there were concerns for his safety.

Team members were deployed initially to an RV-point at North Yorkshire Police Headquarters in the town. Our incident control vehicle was set up at the HQ and our two Land Rovers were also deployed to the area.

Following consultation with the Police a number of search parties were tasked to search various outside of the town including local woodlands. After approximately eight hours of searching our search parties were stood-down for the night shortly before 2200 hours.

Thirty-one Team Members were involved in the search. We remain ready to assist further if requested by the Police, pending their on-going enquiries.
