As the team were leaving Fryup, a request was received from North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) to provide assistance to a person injured in the vicinity of Highciffe Nab above Hutton Village. The first person on scene was a team doctor, who provided immediate care to the person and requested various medical kit to be provided as soon as a Land Rover arrived. As other personnel arrived at the site, the ambulance crew also arrived. The casualty was treated by the medical personnel on site , then packaged in. a vacuum mattress and casualty bag for the stretcher carry to the ambulance approx 100m away.
We wish the person a full and speed recovery.

Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.
