Incident 60

North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) contacted us at 21.58 to assist one of their Ambulance crews.

A young male Mountain biker had come off his bike in Errington Woods near New Marske injuring himself.

The ambulance crew had located him approx 300m up a track in the woods, treated him and administered pain relief.
They needed assistance to transport him back to the waiting Ambulance.

We spoke directly to the Ambulance crews to confirm the location and 12 team members responded in a team Land Rover and our personal vehicles. We then carried him out to the Ambulance on our team stretcher.
The incident lasted around 1 hr.
