Incident 32 Rescue Roseberry

Incident 32 Rescue Roseberry Topping: Sunday 16th July 1200hrs.
We were called to help a 53 year old Redcar man who had collapsed whilst climbing Roseberry Topping with his young son.
The team were in the area at the time on a training exercise as part of our Peer review weekend so a quick response took place using personal from the visiting teams (Swaledale, Wasdale and Dartmoor).
The man was located above the tree line overlooking the village of Newton, he was examined at the scene by team personnel before we were able to assist him slowly down the hillside to the carpark at Newton.
The incident lasted just over an hour and involved 12 team members.
