Sunday September 16th 0600-1700
The team were again in attendance at the Ardmoor mountain biking event where around 1000 mountain bikers were completing against the clock on six specially constructed downhill cycle tracks.
We were able to sort out the handful who got injured with a couple needing treatment at James Cook University Hospital.
24 of the team were in attendance for 12 hours.
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.
