Callout 4 Rescue: Clay Bank

Sunday 19th January 1545 hrs.

Just as we had repacked the vehicles after callout number 3 we were alerted to assist with a Northallerton lady who had slipped whilst on a walk from the car park at Clay Bank, above Great Broughton. The lady was about 300 metres Β from the nearest road up a grassy slope on the Cleveland Way Path.

She was treated at the scene by paramedics from the ambulance service and team doctors and personnel before being carried on a specialised mountain rescue stretcher down the hillside to the waiting ambulance.

This incident lasted around an hour.
