Thursday 30th June 2022 (1636 hours)
We were contacted by the North East Ambulance Service with a request to assist them extract a person from land near Guisborough to their ambulance. Team members were immediately alerted. Some of them were en route to our Base and others were preparing to leave their homes and places of work etc when we were stood-down by NEAS as their crew and Police Officers had managed to extract the person concerned.
Fourteen Cleveland MRT members were either en route or mobilising when stood-down in addition to our call-out officer.

Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.Join Now
