A very brief call-out after being contacted by the North East Ambulance Service regarding a person possibly taken ill near Roseberry Topping. But we were stood down after just 10-minutes as being no longer required.
Sixteen members (some of whom were on their way to our Base to collect vehicles) were involved.
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

A little reminder - entries are open for the Cleveland Survival (taking place on Saturday 29th March 2025).

The Survival is open to runners and walkers based on an orienteering course, with a route of around 20 miles, to be completed within the time limit.
