The Team was deployed at the request of the Yorkshire Ambulance Service to an incident near to Cold Kirby, north-east of Sutton Bank. However, we were stood down before arrival as they subsequently informed us that the person had very sadly died. Our thoughts go out to the deceased’s family and friends.
Fifteen Cleveland MRT members were involved for approximately 35-minutes.
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.
