Rescue – Gribdale Gate

MONDAY 24TH JUNE 2024 (1411 HOURS)

Called out this afternoon by the North east Ambulance Service, although the initial call had been made to Cleveland Police regarding a male who had been taken ill between Roseberry Topping and Gribdale Gate carpark.

Cleveland MRT personnel were deployed and met up with the walking party not far from the carpark. Following assessment and treatment he was later taken by the walking party leader to meet up with a relative, with a recommendation for onward assessment at hospital.

Six members were directly involved plus another 12 initially deployed but who were stood down as the circumstances and location became clearer. Approximately 2.25-hours.
