Called out in the evening by Cleveland Police to assist in the search for a missing person believed to be in the Skinningrove area. Colleagues from various Coastguard Teams had been out earlier in the day as had a number of Police resources including a helicopter. A Coastguard helicopter also took part.
With no sign of the missing person we were stood down by the Police and returned to Base, finishing shortly after midnight. Nineteen Cleveland MRT members were involved for just over six-hours.

Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.
