NORTHALLERTON STREET COLLECTION

Many, many thanks to everyone who donated, bought merchandise or popped by for a chat during our street collection in Northallerton today. The money has been counted and we can now reveal (ahead of tonight’s ‘Strictly’ result!) that the grand total was £1,419 – a tremendous amount, especially consider these challenging economic times.

Thanks also to the many Team members who took part – a great Team effort! As always, there were many positive comments about the work of the S&R Team (and not forgetting the often unseen work of our Support members, who also took part today).

Thanks again to everyone for your contributions! For our next Christmas event, we’ll be helping out with Santa’s Sleigh Run around Great Ayton next Saturday evening (the 23rd). More details to follow in the next day or so.
