MONDAY 16TH OCTOBER 2023
Earlier this afternoon we were called by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist them and an air ambulance crew attending to a report of a woman who had been taken ill on land south of Danby. Two Land Rovers and a number of Team members were dispatched but later cancelled just after our first member arrived on scene, as the paramedics and ambulance crews had managed to get the casualty to the helicopter, to be flown to hospital. We send our good wishes for her recovery.
A total of 19 Cleveland MRT members were involved, most still en route when stood down. The call-out lasted just under half-an-hour.

Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.
