The winter edition of Mountain Rescue magazine is now available for free online. Lots of great articles and useful information about MR, including an article on last October’s charity fundraiser by HR2day Limited and recognition of the Team’s work by North Yorkshire Police.

Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

REDCAR BOXING DAY DIP 2024
Cleveland MRT members will be helping out at the Rotary Club of Redcar Boxing Day Dip tomorrow. As is traditional, our chefs (!) will be providing hot(ish) drinks to the 'dippers'.
Details via the Rotary Club Facebook page and website. Note that you must be registered to enter - you can now only register in person on Boxing Day morning.
Registration opens in The Palace Hub on Redcar Esplanade at 1015 & closes at 1055 - and then into the warming waters of the North Sea at 1100.
