SUNDAY 12TH JUNE 2022 (1624 HOURS)
Our third call-out of the weekend and our second of the day.
We deployed to an area just to the north of Norton, Stockton-on-Tees at the request of the North East Ambulance Service to assist with a man who had been injured after a fall on land in that area. Two Team Land Rovers were dispatched along with other Team members making their way towards a nearby RV-point in their own vehicles. Shortly after our two first members had arrived on scene we were advised that the rest of the Team could stand-down, as the NEAS crews had it in hand and we simply assisted them with their stretcher recovery to an ambulance.
Eighteen Cleveland MRT members were deployed although most did not arrive before being stood-down by our call-out officer. It lasted for approximately one-hour including return travel time.

Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.
