Search – Hartlepool

SATURDAY 11TH JUNE 2022

Cleveland Police contacted us during the afternoon to help them search for a missing person from Hartlepool. A number of Police Officers were involved in the search and our Team members were sent to assist, taking with them our Incident Command Vehicle and a Land Rover. After a briefing they were deployed to cover various areas of Summerhill Country Park. We also requested support from ‘Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England’ and as a result a search dog and handler from Swaledale MRT were sent to assist.

We were later stood-down by the Police when they informed us that the missing person had been found safe and well. Fifteen Cleveland MRT members plus the Swaledale MRT handler & dog were involved in the search or en route when stood-down. Our search only lasted for one-hour but taking into account travelling time the call-out lasted approximately three-hours.
