This week the team has recieved a kind donation of £105 via the National Trails Officer at North York Moors National Park. Thank you to the National Park for recognising our important role in the area.
The wider donation is shared with Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team and comes from the proceeds made selling specially produced Joe Cornish cards that celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Cleveland Way National Trail in 2019. It marks the real importance of the association we have with the users of the Cleveland Way and our National Park.
Big thanks to Joe Cornish and the Joe Cornish Gallery for their support in this project
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.
