Mountain Rescue England & Wales have published their Annual Review. Contains lots of interesting information about what Teams are asked to deal with, plus some facts and figures and features on particular activities. It’s available for free online as a Flip Book by clicking here.
Cleveland MRT are featured on page 17 (about flooding in the area) and on page 28 (about a video meeting with HRH Prince Edward).
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

Over the years Leven Crafts and their customers in Guisborough have been staunch supporters of Cleveland MRT and their latest fundraiser is ideally timed in the run up to Christmas.
Starting on 30th November, they will be holding a charity sale of handmade quilts and shop samples to raise funds for us and the Great North Air Ambulance.
