Sunday 4th October 2020. We received a request from North Yorkshire Police to assist with a search for a person potentially missing in the Chop Gate area. One of Land Rovers and a number of Team members were deployed. A short time after the first Team members arrived and commenced a search the individual was located safe and well and we were able to stand down. 25 Team members were involved and en route plus one other co-ordinating our response remotely. Approximately 1.5 hours.
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

Over the years Leven Crafts and their customers in Guisborough have been staunch supporters of Cleveland MRT and their latest fundraiser is ideally timed in the run up to Christmas.
Starting on 30th November, they will be holding a charity sale of handmade quilts and shop samples to raise funds for us and the Great North Air Ambulance.
