Cleveland Police called us out to assist in the search for a missing 45 year old Guisborough woman whose absence was causing concern.
Twenty five team members were involved in the search which was concentrated in the area to the the east of Guisborough on the edge of Guisborough Forest.
The search was called off just after seven thirty when one of the search parties located a body, believed to be that of the missing women.
Our thoughts are with the missing lady’s friends and family.
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.
