Thursday November 21st: 1400hrs.
Cleveland Police called us out to help find a 49 yer old man from the East Cleveland area whose absence was causing concern.
The man had last been seen in Guisborough earlier that morning and we were asked to search Guisborough Forest to see if we could locate him.
We searched with walking parties and in Landrovers for around six hours with out success.
18 members of the team were involved for 8 hours.
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

Unfortunately due to the overnight rain with more forecast, today's event at Redcar Racing has been cancelled so we will not be there! Statement from the racecourse:
Unfortunately today’s Easter Monday race meeting has been abandoned.
We are bitterly disappointed that racing is not able to go ahead but there is little that can be done given the amount of recent rainfall this morning.
All pre-paid tickets will automatically be refunded, there is no need to contact the racecourse office.
