Ambulance assist at Roseberry Topping

Wednesday 09 Sept (1055hrs)

North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) requested assistance from the team to extricate a casualty who was suffering from a medical condition in Newton Woods below Roseberry Topping. The team deployed one Land Rover with other members heading to the RV at Newton under Roseberry car park.The first three team members were transported to the top of Roseberry Lane and then walked to the cas site to meet the NEAS medics. Other team members headed to the top of Roseberry Lane awaiting  information on what kit would be required. Following the results of the assessment by the NEAS  crew it was decided the casualty could walk to the Land Rover at the top of the lane. The person was transferred in the Land Rover to the ambulance in the car park.

We hope the casualty makes a full recovery.
