TUESDAY 25th November (1900 hrs)
The Team were contacted by Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to provide assistance to a casualty suffering from a medical condition on Easby Moor in the vicinity of Captain Cook’s Monument . Sadly the casualty died on scene.
The body was recovered by the team to an ambulance in Gribdale Gate car park.
We send our sincere condolences to the family.
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.
