On Thursday evening at 2230hrs the team were requested to assist Cleveland Police with the search for a missing juvenile. The search involved the water team being deployed in kit to search the Ingelby Barwick bankside of the River Tees. Other members searched the paths and scrub land in the area known as Muddies. No find was made. The team stood down from the search around 3am.
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

DONATION FROM RUNNING EVENTS
Earlier this week, our team member, Sid Bollands, was presented with a cheque for £1000 for our support work on the Eskdale Eureka and Guisborough Moors races held earlier this year and included a donation from the Whorlton Run organised by Lets Run of Great Ayton.
