MONDAY 23rd JUNE (1200hrs)
Cleveland Police requested assistance in the search for a missing juvenile in Six Fields Nature Reserve of Hartburn area in Stockton. Unfortunately a body was found during the search by the Police.
Our thoughts are with the family and friends at this difficult time

15 members involved for up to 5 hours
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

MEDICAL CAROUSEL TRAINING SESSION
This week, the midweek training session was a medical carousel of 7 stations in the car park area of Danby Lodge.
5 of the stations involved the treatment of major trauma and medical conditions which would require air ambulance support. To make the treatments more challenging , each group had 15 minutes to treat, stabilise and prepare for the transfer. Why 15 minutes? The air ambulance only had enough fuel to land , collect the casualty and immediately leave.
The remaining stations were a casualty requiring CPR. and a triage of 10 casualties from a major incident .
The casualty CPR was undertaken for at least 10 minutes, The triage classified which casualties are priority over the others using a national protocol.
For those wondering , all casualties were successfully collected by the air ambulance..
