TUESDAY 1st April (1920 hours)
The Team were contacted by Yorkshire Ambulance Service( YAS) to provide assistance to a casualty suffering from a medical condition on The Cleveland Way at Cringle Moor. Sadly the casualty died on scene.
The body was recovered by the team to an ambulance close to Lordstones with assistance from a HM Coastguard helicopter.
We send our sincere condolences to the family.
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.
