Cycling for Proffitt have raised more. The cyclists who supported their friend, colleague fellow cyclist who sustained spinal injuries in a cycling accident have presented the Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team with a cheque for another £2000. Their annual fundraising bike ride raised more this year so the three charities each received a cheque for £2000. It is an honour to stand next to those from James Cook Spinal Injuries Unit and SIA (the Spinal Injuries Association). http://www.cyclingforproffitt.co.uk/ ride again this year hopefully raising more funds for good causes. The Cycling for Proffitt team are a special group and as the cycling fans say “Chapeau”.
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.Join Now
